Evolution of Gammagir1′s RG400 Gamma This is what
they looked like when I bought my two RG400 Gamma’s
From Adjustment Tech in Omemee, Ontario..these bikes were imported from Japan
The bonus of Japanese chassis’s are: Fuel guage on the clocks, “pass” button
on control pod that flashes headlight to signal a pass, on-off switch on pods
to turn off headlight, integrated front turn signals
Clean her up a bit and look how much better she can look!
Strip it right down to the bare frame, clean every part,
spacer, nut, bolt
in the parts washer you see below the wall calendar
Here’s the 400 motor I got from Australia..and getting ready
to take the forks completely apart
Install the newly cleaned and greased swingarm and linkage,
front pegs and triple clamps
Pretty little SRX600 beside the Gamma, eh? Forks have
been completely cleaned, greased, rebuilt and new fork oil added
Headlight cage and clip ons intalled, new fork seals,
steering head bearings and wheel bearings installed
Rear pegs, brake arm and rims installed (will replace with
Katana 600 rims in winter)
Every bolt on the bike prepared with locktite or
anti-seize before installation, every single pivot point or axle greased
Yeehhaa the motor is in! Rear shock installed too
Brand new Nikon upper pipes loosely fitted on
